Devotees: Please arrive at the Shiv Mandir in time for the Puja with all the above offerings in your puja thali ready to go! Please note that the spiritual vibrations created during a puja are hindered when people interrupt the puja due to a late entrance. Also, a donation to the Niagara Hindu Samaj at the end of the puja would be highly appreciated, as will a dakshina (offering) to Acharya Ji for conducting the puja.
After Lakshmi Puja, Diwali will be celebrated as Acharya Shuklaji leads the Sunday satsang through a session of melodious and spiritually uplifting devotional music followed by aarti and preetibhoj.
We are also celebrating Annakoot on October 30. Please participate by bringing in a plate (approximate size 7 to 9 inches) containing sweets to contribute to the Annakoot display.
