The Niagara Hindu Samaj represents a wide section of Indo-Canadians in the Niagara region. As in past years, in 2016 the Niagara Hindu Samaj is going to be publishing “Deepmala”, our annual community magazine on the occasion of Diwali, our most highly-celebrated festival. Diwali is to the Niagara Hindu Samaj community what Christmas is to Christians- an occasion for spreading peace, goodwill and tolerance.

Deepmala, our magazine, is much-sought after and widely distributed in the Niagara Region and the GTA. Advertising in it is a great opportunity to connect with the upwardly mobile South Asian community and familiarize it with the products and services that your business has to offer. Our advertising rates are very low, offering you very good value for your investment. We intend to distribute the magazine on the occasion of our Diwali Dinner and Dance Celebration this year tentatively in October 2016.

We are grateful that several members of the Samaj community supported us with post-dated cheques in 2015. Please keep up the support in 2016. If you did not participate in 2015, please do so now! Your donations help us to provide numerous badly needed services to the community.

All your contributions are welcome- every little bit counts! If everyone in the Samaj community made regular monthly contributions, our debt load would have been a thing of the past! So please step up and furnish us with your monthly post-dated cheques for any amount that you feel you can contribute on a recurring basis. The Samaj and the Shiv Mandir need your help- please open up your hearts and purse-strings!
